DAV College Managing Committee is the largest non-government
organization in the field of education in India and abroad
today.It has a glorious past in the steeped in the history
of India ,our great nation.DAV College Managing Committee
has contributed to nation -building by pioneering private
initiative in education .In its more than 125 years long
career span,DAV syudents have emerged as leaders in their
choosen fields as Nobel laureates,Prime
Ministers,Scientist,sports persons, defence personnel
,movie actors ,CEO’s making meaningful contribution to the
economic and social development of India.
DAV CMC runs and manage over 720 educational institution
which are comprised of public schools ,grants-in-aid
schools,colleges,institutes of professional education and
research institutions.Trusted by both public and private
sectors,DAV CMC manages over 100 projects and Semi – project
schools, for blue-chip corporate houses such as ACC, Tata,
Reliance, Adani and Public Sector corporations such as BHEL,
GAIL, SECL etc. DAV CMC discharges its social responsibility
by running ashrams and orphanages for the underprivileged
and destitute children and women.
DAV College Managing Committee is managed by a galaxy of
luminaries from diverse fields who are committed to the
philosophy of Arya Samaj and ideals of Swami Dayanand
Saraswati. DAV Institutions are spread all over India to
create to a wide range of clients from the urban elite to
the rural Indian. They aim at enhancing physical, mental and
spiritual growth of children through a project blend of
academics, sports and co-curricular activities.
The present President of DAV CMC is Shri Punam Suri.There
are many regional Directors who control several zones.DAV
has been making a significant contribution to the society
through spreading value-based education keeping the ancient
vedic heritage in mind and maintaining a balance between
vedic wisdom and modernity Recently the the organization has
taken one step forward by initiating the project of DAV
University at Jalandhar,Punjab.
Presently ,under the charismatic guidance of Shri. Punam
Suri ,DAV has taken some crucial steps in its persuit of
excellence,which it feels proud of ,but not yet
contented.Its vision is to be crowned as the finest
educational organization in the world.Its mission is
man-making and its success in this endeavor has the
potential of making the society free from prejudices and
